MUSD Reclassification Criteria
Last Update: September 2017
- The student must be enrolled in grades 3-12
- ***(For 2017-2018, Annual CELDT not administered. Only INITIAL CELDT Tests will be given) Overall CELDT score: Early Advanced (level 4) or Advanced (level 5) with no sub-skill score below Intermediate (level 3) (ELPAC Summative Test to be given in Spring 2018, factor in late 2017-2018 reclassification windows TBD)***
- CAASPP Score of 3 (At Standard) or 4 (Above Standard)
- K-8: iReady On Level Ranges (Early - Late), based on district-provided scale scores for each window
- High School: Lexile Level (1100-1200), based on district-provided scale scores for each window
- Student making expected progress for English Language Arts standards (C- or better in secondary schools)
- Student Oral Language Observation Matrix: 20 total points or 19 total if 3 points are in Row D
- Objective assessment of writing skills (writing benchmark) based on district-approved Rubric
- Parent consultation
